SHE

The male spider lurks.

A spider with winsome

jaws appears

to notice him.

She, femme fatale,

 sharpens her attributes

bulging eyes rotating

resting on him,

he knew it,

antennae touching

as they dance

in a last

embrace.

She consumes him

with no grace.

And you,

not trusting,

thinking I’m flirting

with veiled, promising look

prior to

consummation
